PublicClassic Mac OS in a Mac-shaped AliExpress alarm clock — Pi Zero 2W + SheepShaver
This repository provides hardware designs, assembly guides, and an automated installer to convert a Maclock alarm clock into a functional classic Macintosh emulator using a Raspberry Pi Zero.
How It Works
You find a fun guide online to turn a cute toy Mac alarm clock into a real working retro computer.
You buy the toy clock, a tiny computer board, a small screen, and print a frame to fit everything nicely.
You carefully connect the screen, buttons, dial, and speaker inside the toy shell, following simple pictures and a video guide.
You put a basic operating system on a small memory card and add old Mac software files.
You insert the card, connect to the tiny computer over the internet, and run a simple one-click installer that sets everything up.
The device restarts, plays a classic Mac startup sound, and brings the old computer to life on the screen.
You now have a fully working miniature Macintosh with brightness control, buttons for power and reset, and authentic sounds—all inside the toy shell.
