PublicA lightweight macOS app cleaner that lives in your macbook's notch. Drag, Drop, Ditch.
Ditch is a lightweight open-source macOS utility that lets users drag applications to their MacBook's notch to preview and remove associated files like caches and preferences by sending them to the Trash.
How It Works
You hear about Ditch, a handy tool for easily cleaning up apps on your MacBook, and download the free installer from its page.
Open the downloaded file, drag the Ditch app to your Applications folder, and tell your Mac it's safe to run so it starts up smoothly.
Ditch runs quietly in the background with a small trash icon in your menu bar; choose if you want it to start automatically when you log in.
Grab an unwanted app from your Applications folder and drag it toward the notch at the top of your MacBook screen – a special drop zone magically appears.
Drop the app into the zone to see a clear list of all related files like caches and preferences it will clean, with sizes and previews.
Click the Remove button to safely move everything to your Trash, feeling a satisfying vibration as your Mac gets tidier.
Your app is gone along with its hidden clutter, giving you more storage and a cleaner Mac – ready for the next adventure.
