PublicDrops keyboard input when no human face is visible to the front camera. A macOS menu bar app that blocks catasstrophes.
Furwall is a macOS menu bar app that monitors the front camera to detect human presence during typing and blocks keyboard input if no person is visible, capturing photos of cats that trigger blocks.
How It Works
A friend tells you about this fun app that stops cats from walking across your keyboard and messing up your work.
Grab the app file from the releases page and drag it into your Applications folder like any other program.
Open the app, follow the welcome screen, and give it okay to use your camera and control the keyboard safely.
A little cat appears in your top menu bar, quietly watching only when you type or move the mouse.
Your cat jumps on the keys, but nothing types— the app blocks it and quickly saves a photo of the mischief.
Click the menu icon anytime to see how many cat interruptions happened and peek at the saved photos.
Your emails, code, and notes are protected from furry paws, with adorable cat pictures as a bonus.
