A native macOS app for managing scheduled tasks. Built with SwiftUI + SwiftData. Menu bar resident, cron expressions, script execution, and more.
TaskTick is a native macOS menu bar app for creating, scheduling, and monitoring script-based automated tasks with templates, logs, notifications, and crontab import support.
How It Works
You hear about TaskTick, a simple Mac app that lets you schedule everyday tasks without complicated setups.
Grab the app from the download page and drag it to your Applications folder – it opens right away after a quick security okay.
Look up top – a little clock icon sits quietly in your menu bar, ready whenever you need it.
Click the icon, pick a ready-made example like a backup or check, tweak the timing like daily at noon, and save – it's that easy.
Choose when it repeats – daily, weekly, or custom – and hit run to test; it notifies you if it works or needs a fix.
View past runs in the logs window, import old tasks if you have them, and build a routine of automations.
Your backups, checks, and reminders happen automatically in the background, freeing you from manual work.
