bjarneo / omarchy-quickapps
PublicRadial, keyboard-driven app launcher for Hyprland, built with Quickshell.
Omarchy Quick Apps is a collection of visually striking app launchers for Linux computers. Instead of clicking through menus or searching for apps, you press a single keyboard shortcut and a beautiful overlay appears showing your apps arranged in a circle. You can select apps using your keyboard (arrow keys, numbers, or Tab) or by clicking with your mouse. The launcher comes with 10 different visual themes—from glowing sci-fi interfaces to retro computer aesthetics—so you can match it to your desktop's style. Once you select an app, it opens normally while the launcher disappears. It's designed for people who use Hyprland (a popular Linux desktop environment) and want both speed and beauty in their daily workflow.
How It Works
You stumble upon a video or screenshot of a stunning app launcher with glowing rings, neon colors, and smooth animations.
You browse through 10 different visual themes like Ironman HUD, Tron, or Vaporwave and choose the one that matches your personality.
You install a small helper program and place the launcher files somewhere safe on your computer.
You write down the apps you want to launch—your browser, terminal, music player—with their names and colors you like.
You choose a key combination (like holding Super and pressing Space) that will open your launcher from anywhere.
From any screen, you hold your keys and your beautiful launcher appears with your apps arranged in a glowing circle.
You tap a number or arrow keys, press Enter, and your app opens instantly while the launcher fades away elegantly.
