waycal provides a compact, keyboard-navigable calendar popup that anchors below the Waybar status bar on compatible Linux Wayland desktops.
How It Works
While customizing your Linux desktop bar, you find waycal, a simple popup calendar that drops down when you need it.
You easily add waycal to your computer so it's ready to use with your desktop bar.
You place a small calendar icon right in your desktop bar where it's easy to spot.
Tap the icon and watch a neat monthly calendar pop up just below the bar, with today highlighted.
Use arrow keys to flip months or years, Enter to jump to today, or s to switch styles—feels smooth and fun.
Hit Escape or click the icon again to make it disappear instantly.
Now you have a handy, keyboard-friendly calendar always one click away in your bar, just how you wanted.
