A terminal music player for Tidal, written in Rust. Stream lossless audio from your Tidal account directly in the terminal, with album art, a live spectrum visualizer, beat/drop detection, and in-app downloads.
Lumitide is a terminal music player that streams lossless audio from Tidal accounts, renders album art as Braille characters, displays live spectrum visualizations with beat detection, and supports downloading tracks.
How It Works
Download the simple app file for your computer from the releases page and run it right away.
On first launch, it gives you a web link and code – visit the page, enter the code, and approve to connect your Tidal account.
Choose a folder on your computer where downloaded songs will go, or skip for now.
Type a song or artist name and pick one to play.
Scroll your curated collections and start playing.
Shuffle and enjoy music files already on your device.
Watch album covers appear as art, spectrum bars dance to the beat with colors from the artwork, and feel the lossless sound.
Press a key to download any song you're loving straight to your folder.
Relax with high-quality streaming, cool visuals, and easy controls all in your terminal window.
