What is bolan-skill?

Bolan is a reading skill for AI agents that transforms books into conversational personas. Instead of summarizing what a book says, it distills how a book thinks -- preserving tone, argument structure, internal tensions, and blind spots. Once distilled, you can ask the book direct questions and get responses in its own voice. The system supports PDF, EPUB, DOCX, and plain text formats, with a Python extraction script that chunks content for processing. It runs on Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other agent runtimes that support skills.
