BBCPrince / JavaUWPLauncher
PublicJavaUWPLauncher is a UWP launcher project for running Minecraft Java on Xbox/UWP devices.
JavaUWPLauncher is an unofficial compatibility tool that lets you play Minecraft: Java Edition on Xbox devices. It works by creating a special app that signs you into your Microsoft account, verifies you own Minecraft Java Edition, downloads the official game files directly from Mojang, and then launches the game with full controller support. The project is designed for people who want Java Edition's modding capabilities on Xbox hardware. It requires a valid Minecraft purchase and does not bundle any game files—all content comes from official sources after proper authentication.
How It Works
You've been playing Bedrock on Xbox but miss your favorite Java mods and shaders.
You download and install the special app package that creates a Java-compatible environment on your Xbox.
A simple code appears on screen that you enter on your phone or another device—no typing needed on your TV.
Behind the scenes, it checks with Minecraft's servers to confirm your purchase before doing anything else.
Downloads fresh game files from Minecraft's official servers
Skips download if your files are already up to date
Everything starts up smoothly, and your controller works just like on the regular Xbox version.
Your favorite mods and shaders work, all running from your living room TV with just a controller.
