⚡️A native, local-first alternative to Logitech Options+, written in Rust 🦀 — remap buttons, DPI, and SmartShift over HID++. No account, no telemetry.
OpenLogi is a free, privacy-respecting desktop application that lets you customize Logitech HID++ mice (buttons, scroll wheel behavior, sensitivity) without needing Logitech's official Options+ software. It runs entirely locally on your computer with no account creation or internet connection required, stores settings in a simple configuration file, and currently supports macOS with Linux and Windows support planned.
How It Works
Logitech Options+ is clunky, requires an account, and sends data to the cloud. You just want to remap a few buttons.
A friend tells you about a free app that runs entirely on your computer, with no sign-up required.
Grab the installer from GitHub or install via Homebrew, then drag the app to your Applications folder.
The app shows a picture of your exact mouse model with clickable buttons you can customize.
Click any button on the on-screen mouse and pick from dozens of actions or record your own shortcut
Slide to your preferred sensitivity and save it as a preset you can cycle through anytime
Your settings load every time you open the app, and per-app profiles switch instantly when you switch programs.
No accounts, no cloud, no tracking—just a mouse that does exactly what you need it to do.
